Gabriella Rojas is a photographer, food stylist, and retoucher from Long Island, New York who lives for food.

Coming from a multiethnic background, Gabriella’s love for food began long before her love for photography. At a young age, she’d often watch her family cook, whether it be her dad making empanadas, her uncle grilling carne asada, or her mom preparing stuffed shells and meatballs. The more she watched, the more curious she became and the more she wanted to be a part of the action. As she grew up, she advanced from helping her mom prepare dishes to make creations of her own.

Things took a great turn in 2015 when Gabriella combined her love for cooking and passion for photography. She developed a clean graphic style allowing her images to jump right off the page.  Photography taught her how to truly see the subtleties of life, often making the ordinary extraordinary. In looking at her work, one can’t help but have a mouth-watering, stomach-growling experience.

In 2022, Gabriella earned her BFA with Honors in Photographic & Imaging Arts from Rochester Institute of Technology along with completing a double minor in advertising & public relations and modern language.

When not on assignment, Gabriella often enjoys deepening her love for world cultures by immersing herself in a variety of ways from studying foreign languages to assisting foreigners in ESL. She also enjoys talking about wine with her mom, going on drives with her sister, and planning for adventures she hopes will happen in the near future.
